Revenant Hearts

Revenant Hearts is a tabletop roleplaying game for 2-4 players. You'll need some index cards, pen or pencils, and a deck of standard playing cards for each player.

You’ll need one player to act as the DM (Death Manager) who sets the scenes and plays the worlds and various NPCs that you will encounter, including your boss – Death.

You each play as one of Death’s Revenants – unliving yet undead agents contracted to do Death’s dirty work that they cannot or just can’t be bothered to do.

As a Revenant, you shed your mortal form long ago when you signed a Contract with Death to do their bidding. You exist in a ghostly form, but when you need to do Death’s work in the mortal realm, you take on a Veil, which is an artificial body that you can inhabit. Death can recreate the bodies of the recently dead and can loan them out to you on missions as you need them.
