Branching Streams is a supplement to An Altogether Different River which collects several Game Seeds for the game plus a couple of hacks. You will need a copy of An Altogether Different River to use with the materials presented here.

In addition to expanding the original 4 Game Seeds from An Altogether Different River, this supplement includes 4 new Game Seeds. Two of the new Game Seeds are from guest contributors Samuel Mui Shen Ern and Thomas Manuel.

I've also invited fellow game designers Logan Timmins and Rick Chia to  contribute a new variant for the ending of the game, and a substantive hack of An Altogether Different River.

I'm also really happy to work with Venessa Tang again on the cover and artwork, keeping with the tone and feel of the original game.

A town isn't just one thing.

There is no way for us to understand all that there was, is, and could be in any one location and claim to say we know what that place is.

A town is the sum and multiplicity of its people, its myriad histories and realities, a confluence of overlapping worlds.

All the motion of water and life and death flowing through what we foolishly attempt to call one river.
